RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SITE-BASED LEARNING AFFILIATION AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN CAPELLA UNIVERSITY AND PASSAIC COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (hereafter “County”) is a government body incorporated pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1, et seq. and vested with all rights contained therein; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1 the Board of County Commissioners for the County of Passaic (hereafter “Board”) are vested with decision making powers on behalf of the County; and

WHEREAS, the Director/Health Officer requests a resolution for Site-Based Learning Affiliation Agreement by and between Capella University located at 225 South 6^th Street, 9^th Floor, Minneapolis, MN 55402, and County of Passaic d/b/a Passaic County Department of Health Services to establish guidelines for the cooperative provision of internship and practicum experiences at Site for learners enrolled in specific degree programs at Capella;

WHEREAS, this matter was discussed at the June 18, 2024, meeting of the Health and Human Services Committee and is being recommended to the Board for approval; and

NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (hereafter “Board”) hereby authorizes a resolution for Site-Based Leaning Affiliation Agreement by and between Capella University located at 225 South 6^th Street, 9^th Floor, Minneapolis, MN 55402, and County of Passaic d/b/a Passaic County Department of Health Services to establish guidelines for the cooperative provision of internship and practicum experiences at Site for learners enrolled in specific degree programs at Capella;

LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk to the Board, County Counsel, Director/Health Officer, and Director of the Board are hereby authorized to take any action necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution, including executed the Site-Based Learning Affiliation Agreement.
