RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL RESPONSES RECEIVED UNDER RFP-24-022, MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS SUPPORT, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (“County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (“Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4.1, et seq. authorizes the County to utilize competitive contracting in lieu of public bidding for procurement of specialized goods and services, the price of which exceeds the bid threshold; and
WHEREAS, on June 14, 2024, the Passaic County Purchasing Agent issued RFP-24-022, Management Information Systems Support (“RFP-24-022”), responses to which were received on July 3, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the Passaic County Administrator is recommending to reject all responses received under RFP-24-022, as authorized under N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed by the Administration & Finance Committee and is being recommended to the Board for approval; and
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic authorizes rejection of all bid responses received under RFP-24-022, Management Information Systems Support.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Board, County Counsel, County Administrator, Purchasing Agent, and Director of the Board are authorized to take any action necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
