RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF TWO (2) SAVIN IM C6010 COLOR COPIERS, FROM ATLANTIC TOMORROW’S OFFICE FOR THE DIVISION OF WEATHERIZATION AND HOME ENERGY, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12, ET.SEQ.

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (hereafter “County”) is a government body incorporated pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1, et seq. and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1 the Board of County Commissioners for the County of Passaic (hereafter “Board”) are vested with decision-making powers on behalf of the County; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12, et.seq., the County may, without advertising for bids or having rejected all bids obtained pursuant to advertising thereof, purchase any goods or services under any contract or contracts for such goods or services entered into on behalf of the State of New Jersey by the Division of Purchase and Property in the Department of Treasury; and
WHEREAS, Atlantic Tomorrow’s Office provided a quote for the purchase two (2) SAVIN IM C6010 color copiers in an amount not to exceed nineteen thousand four hundred eighty four and 00/100 ($19,484,00) dollars, attached to and made part of this Resolution, which is being recommended for approval by the Health Officer; and
WHEREAS, Atlantic Tomorrow’s Office provided a quote for maintenance of the two (2) SAVIN IM C6010 color copiers, and the provision of color and black and white toner, at the rate of $.0075 dollars per black and white copy, and $.0650 dollars per color copy (copy attached hereto); and
WHEREAS, Atlantic Tomorrow’s Office submitted competitive pricing for G2075-Copiers & Multi-Function Devices, Maintenance, Supplies & Print Services, Master Blanket Purchase Order 40467, to the State of New Jersey, Division of Purchase and Property in the Department of Treasury; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in Account No. G-01-41-705-024-PE1 or any other account that may be deemed appropriate by the Chief Financial Officer or his designee, and the availability of funds has been contingently certified by the Chief Financial Officer subject to sufficient funds being appropriated by the Board in the 2024 and/or subsequent years’ County budget(s);
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:32-60-1, et seq., vendor executed the Non-Involvement in Prohibited Activities in Russia or Belarus Certification, attached hereto and made part of this Resolution, certifying the vendor is not involved in prohibited activities in Russia and Belarus, and the County confirmed vendor is not identified on the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons list created by the Office of Foreign Assets Control; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed at the September 17, 2024, meeting of the Health and Human Services Committee and is being recommended to the Board for approval; and
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.SA. 40A:11-12, et.seq., the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic authorizes the purchase of two (2) SAVIN IM C6010 color copiers in an amount not to exceed not to exceed nineteen thousand four hundred eighty four and 00/100 ($19,484,00) dollars from Atlantic Tomorrow’s Office under State Contract for G2075-Copiers & Multi-Function Devices, Maintenance, Supplies & Print Services, Master Blank Purchase Order 40467; and
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Board, County Counsel, and Purchasing Agent are authorized to execute an agreement and take any other steps necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
