RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO R-22-0339, DATED APRIL 26, 2022, TO ADD THE ASSISTANT HEALTH OFFICER AS AN AUTHOIRZED SIGNATORY ON THE RECYCLING ENHANCEMENT ACT GRANT APPLICATION.

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (hereafter “County”) is a government body incorporated pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1, et seq. and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1 the Board of County Commissioners for the County of Passaic (hereinafter “Board”) are vested with decision-making powers on behalf of the County; and
WHEREAS, the Passaic County Department of Health Division of Recycling & Natural Resources (hereafter “Division”) coordinates all solid waste and recycling planning functions on behalf of the County and its municipalities; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution R-22-0039, dated April 26, 2022, the Board authorized the Division to apply for and accept a grant from the State of New Jersey, Department of Environmental Protection for the Recycling Enhancement Act Grant (hereafter “REA”), pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, et.seq., and
WHEREAS, the Division is requesting an amendment to R-22-0339, dated April 26, 2022, to add the Assistant Health Officer as an authorized signatory on the REA Grant Application; and
WHEREAS, this matter was reviewed and approved at the September 17, 2024, meeting of the Health and Human Services Committee; and
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic hereby authorizes an amendment to R-22-0339, dated April 26, 2022, to add the Assistant Health Officer as an authorized signatory on the Recycling Enhancement Act Grant Application.
