RESOLUTION REJECTING OF ALL BIDS RECEIVED FOR RFP-24-027 CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE PASSAIC COUNTY PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2(d).

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (hereafter “County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1 the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (hereafter “Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, on August 5, 2024, the Purchasing Agent unsealed bids for RFP-24-027, Case Management Services for the County of Passaic Prosecutor’s Office (hereinafter “RFP-24-027”) in compliance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et seq.; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2(d), the Board may reject all bids if the contracting unit wants to substantially revise the specifications for the goods and services; and
WHEREAS, the bids received in response to RFP-24-027 were reviewed by the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, but it now desires to reject all bids and issue a revised RFP; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed by the Law and Public Safety Committee meeting, and is being recommended to the Board for approval; and
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:11-13.2(d) the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic rejects all the bids received for the RFP-24-027, Case Management Services for the County of Passaic Prosecutor’s Office to re-issue a new RFP with substantially revised specifications.
