RESOLUTION AMENDING GRANT AGREEMENT NO.: DOAS24AAA009 2024 MID-YEAR ALLOCATIONS FROM $2,958,560.00 TO $4,453,536.00 FOR AN INCREASE AMOUNT OF $1,624,976.00.

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (hereafter “County”) is a government body incorporated pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1, et seq. and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1 the Board of County Commissioners for the County of Passaic (hereafter “Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, the County, through its Department of Senior Services (hereafter “Department”), provides assistance with senior benefit programs, including home and community services to senior citizens throughout Passaic County; and
WHEREAS, the Director of the Department is requesting a resolution amending Grant Agreement No. No. DOAS24AAA009 2024 Mid-Year Allocations from two million nine hundred fifty eight thousand five hundred sixty and 00/100) ($2,958,560.00) dollars to four million four hundred fifty three thousand five hundred thirty six and 00/100 ($4,453,536.00) dollars for an increase amount of one million six hundred twenty four thousand nine hundred seventy six and 00/100 ($1,624,976.00) dollars; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed at the October 15, 2024, meeting of the Health and Human Services Committee and is being recommended to the Board for approval; and
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic authorizes the amendment to Grant Agreement No. DOAS24AAA009 2024 Mid-Year Allocations from two million nine hundred fifty eight thousand five hundred sixty and 00/100) ($2,958,560.00) dollars to four million four hundred fifty three thousand five hundred thirty six and 00/100 ($4,453,536.00) dollars for an increase amount of one million six hundred twenty four thousand nine hundred seventy six and 00/100 ($1,624,976.00) dollars
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Administrator, County Counsel, Clerk to the Board, Director/Health Officer and the Chief Financial Officer for the County of Passaic are authorized to take all necessary action to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
