RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION R-24-909 AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL OF PARAMUS FORD INC., AS THE VENDOR TO PROVIDE CLASSIC CAPP II FOR A 2024 FORD F-250 FOR THE PASSAIC COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SEARCH & RESCUE UNIT, AND REPLACED WITH THE CORRECT VENDOR CLIFFSIDE BODY CORPORATION

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (hereinafter the “County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1 the Board of County Commissioner of the County of Passaic (hereinafter the “Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office ('PCSO") has requested the purchase of various goods and services for use in furtherance of its objectives; and
WHEREAS, on October 2, 2024, the Passaic County Board of Commissioners approved Resolution R-24-909 that authorized the purchase of various items by the PCSO pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-10 and N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12; and
WHEREAS, Resolution R-24-909 contained the names of several vendors that contractually agreed to provide certain goods and services to the County; and
WHEREAS, Paramus Ford Inc., was erroneously referenced on Resolution R-24-0909 as the vendor that agreed to provide Classic Cap II for a 2024 Ford F-250 for the PCSO Search & Rescue Unit under N.J. State Contract #23/24-04, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12; and
WHEREAS, the correct vendor that was selected by the Passaic County Sheriff's Department to provide the service described herein this Resolution was Cliffside Body Corporation and Resolution R-24-0909 needs to be amended to reflect same; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed by the Law and Public Safety Committee and is being recommended to the Board for approval; and
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners for the County of Passaic hereby authorizes the amendment to Resolution R-24-0909 to remove the incorrect vendor, Paramus Ford Inc., as the vendor to provide Classic Cap II for a 2024 Ford F-250 for the PCSO Search & Rescue Unit, and replaced with the correct vendor Cliffside Body Corporation.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other terms and conditions as set forth in Resolution No. R-22-1159 remain in full force and effect.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Board, County Counsel, Director of the Board of County Commissioners, and Purchasing Agent are authorized to take any other action necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
