RESOLUTION FIXING THE 2025 REORGANIZATION MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF PASSAIC, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40:45A-1

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (“County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (“Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:45A-1, the Board is required to fix, by resolution, the date and time of its annual reorganization meeting at 12 o’clock noon on January 1, or at some other hour on any day during the first week in January; and
WHEREAS, the 2025 reorganization meeting of the Board will be held on January 7, 2025 at noon in the Passaic County Administration Building located at 401 Grand Street, Paterson, New Jersey 07505; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed by the Administration and Finance Committee and is being recommended to the Board for approval; and
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:45A-1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic fixes the 2025 reorganization meeting of the Board to be held on January 7, 2025 at noon in the Administration Building located at 401 Grand Street, Paterson, New Jersey 07505.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk to the Board, County Administrator, and County Counsel are authorized to take any action necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
