RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION R-24-1065 TO CHANGE THE SUB-GRANT AWARD NUMBER FROM FY23-EMPG-EMAA-1600 TO FY24-EMPG-EMAA-1600

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (hereafter “County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1 the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (hereafter “Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, on November 18, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners for the County of Passaic adopted Resolution R-1065 authorizing the Passaic County Office of Emergency Management to apply and accept funds of up to fifty-five thousand dollars ($55,000.00), with an in-kind award of fifty-five thousand dollars ($55,000.00), for a total amount of one hundred and ten thousand dollars ($110,000.00) though the New Jersey Officer of Emergency Management FY2024 Emergency Management Agency Assistance Funding, Sub-Grant Award Number FY23-EMPG-EMAA-1600 (AFN#97.042) for the period of July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the initial resolution request form, issued by the Passaic County Office of Emergency Management, referenced the sub-grant award number as FY24-EMPG-EMAA-1600; and
WHEREAS, Resolution R-1065 needs to be amended to change the sub-grant award number from FY23-EMPG-EMAA-1600 to FY24-EMPG-EMAA-1600.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-10, et. seq. and the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic that it hereby authorizes an amendment to Resolution R 24-1065 to change the sub-grant award number from FY23-EMPG-EMAA-1600 to FY24-EMPG-EMAA-1600.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that all the other terms and conditions as set forth in Resolution R-24-1065 remain in full force and effect.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Board, County Counsel, Director of the Board of County Commissioners, and Purchasing Agent are authorized to take any other action necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
