RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NUMBER R-24-736 “AUTHORIZING THE PASSAIC COUNTY PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE TO APPLY FOR FUNDS FROM THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY BODY ARMOR REPLACEMENT FUND PROGRAM, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40:20-1” TO ACCOUNT FOR THE AWARD AMOUNT OF $5,198.53 ISSUED UNDER THE NEW JERSEY BODY ARMOR REPLACEMENT FUND PROGRAM

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (the “County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1 the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (the “Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, on August 13, 2024, the Board adopted Resolution Number R-24-736 authorizing the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office (“PCPO”) to apply for funds from the state of New Jersey Body Armor Replacement Fund Program; and
WHEREAS, at the time Resolution Number R-24-736 was adopted, the funding amount for the New Jersey Body Armor Replacement Fund Program was unknown, and no award amount was referenced in Resolution Number R-24-736; and
WHEREAS, on December 10, 2024, the PCPO received notice, via email, announcing the award amount of 5,198.53 issued under the New Jersey Body Armor Replacement Fund Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic hereby authorizes an amendment to Resolution Number R- 24-736 to account for the award amount of $5,198.53 issued under the Jersey Body Armor Replacement Fund Program, pursuant to an email dated December 10, 2024.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that all the other terms and conditions as set forth in Resolution Number R- 24-736 remain in full force and effect.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Board, County Counsel, Director of the Board of County Commissioners, and Purchasing Agent are authorized to take any other action necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
