RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NUMBER R-24-1161 “AN AWARD OF CONTRACT TO DOCTOR SUSAN A. FURNARI LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST FOR PSYCHOLOGICAL EXAMINATIONS TO ESTABLISH FITNESS FOR DUTY FOR SERVING PERSONNEL, PRE-EMPLOYMENT EVALUATIONS AND PSYCHOLOGICAL RE-EXAMINATIONS FOR THE PASSAIC COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE AS PER RFQ-25-057” TO INCLUDE THE NOW, THEREFORE CLAUSE

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic ( the“County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1 the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (the “Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, on December 10, 2024, the Board adopted Resolution Number R-24-1161 authorizing an award of contract to Dr. Susan Furnari Licensed Psychologist to provide psychological examinations to establish fitness for duty for serving personnel, pre-employment evaluations, and psychological re-examinations for the PCSO in an amount not to exceed fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000); and
WHEREAS, Resolution Number R-24-1161 noted two separate paragraphs referencing “Let It Be Further Resolved,” the first Let It Be Further Resolved Clause was an error, and omitted the correct language, “Now, Therefore, Let It Be Resolved”; and
WHEREAS, Resolution Number R-24-1161 needs to be amended to revise the first “Let It Be Further Resolved,” paragraph to read “Now, Therefore, Let It Be Resolved.”
NOW, THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic hereby authorizes an amendment to Resolution Number R-24-1161 to revise the first “Let It Be Further Resolved” paragraph to read: “Now, Therefore, Let it Be Resolved, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5, the County is authorizing an award of contract to Dr. Susan Furnari Licensed Psychologist to provide psychological examinations to establish fitness for duty for serving personnel, pre-employment evaluations, and psychological re-examinations for the PCSO in an amount not to exceed fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000).
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that all the other terms and conditions as set forth in Resolution Number R-24-1161 remain in full force and effect.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Board, County Counsel, Director of the Board of County Commissioners, and Purchasing Agent are authorized to take any other action necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
