RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A SECOND NO COST TIME EXTENSION FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM BOROUGH OF WANAQUE FY 2022 PARK AVENUE AND BOULEVARD AVENUE WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (hereafter “County”) is a government body incorporated pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1, et. seq. and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners for the County of Passaic (hereafter “Board”) are vested with decision-making powers on behalf of the County; and
WHEREAS, the Director of the Division of Economic Development is requesting a resolution authorizing a second no cost time extension for the Community Development Block Grant Program Borough of Wanaque FY 2022 Park Avenue and Boulevard Avenue Water Main Improvement Project by May 31, 2025, as set forth in the attached letter from the Borough of Wanaque; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed at the March 13, 2025, meeting of the Planning and Economic Development Committee and is being recommended to the Board for approval; and
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners for the County of Passaic hereby authorizes a second no cost time extension for the Community Development Block Grant Program Borough of Wanaque FY 2022 Park Avenue and Boulevard Avenue Water Main Improvement Project by May 31, 2025; and
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Commissioner Director and Clerk to the Board, as well as the Director of Economic Development, are hereby authorized to act as the authorized representatives of the County of Passaic and to execute all necessary documents and certifications on behalf of the County of Passaic.
