RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING A VENDOR NAME CHANGE FROM ACE SECURITY, INC. TO JMP SECURITY, LLC D/B/A CY DRAKE LOCKSMITHS, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40:20-1

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (hereafter “County”) is a government body incorporated pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1, et seq. and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners for the County of Passaic (hereafter “Board”) is vested with decision-making powers on behalf of the County; and
WHEREAS, on January 21, 2025, the Board approved Resolution No. R-25-0068, authorizing an award of contract to Ace Security Inc. under SB-25-020, Door Locks Hardware Catalog % Discount and Locksmith Services, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4; and
WHEREAS, the County has been informed that Ace Security Inc. has been acquired by JMP Security LLC d/b/a CY Drake Locksmiths; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to acknowledge Ace Security Inc.’s name change to JMP Security LLC d/b/a CY Drake Locksmiths for procurement and purchasing purposes; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed at the June 2, 2025, meeting of the Public Works Committee and is being recommended to the Board for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic acknowledges a name change from Ace Security, Inc. to JMP Security LLC d/b/a CY Drake Locksmiths, for procurement and purchasing purposes.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk to the Board, County Counsel, and Purchasing Agent are authorized to take any action necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
