RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF VARIOUS GOODS AND SERVICES BY THE PASSAIC COUNTY PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE, PURSUANT TO AND N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12 ET SEQ.

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (hereafter “County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1 the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (hereafter “Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office (hereafter “PCPO”) has requested the purchase of various goods and services from qualified vendors for use in furtherance of its administrative objectives; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:11-12, et seq., the County may, without advertising for bids, or having rejected all bids obtained pursuant to advertising thereof, purchase any goods or services under any contract or contracts for such goods or services entered into on behalf of the State of New Jersey by the Division of Purchase and Property in the Department of Treasury; and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to approve said purchases in accordance with the terms of the applicable contracts and authorizing the Purchasing Agent to issue the appropriate Purchase Orders; and
WHEREAS, from time to time State Contract members change due to renewals or addition of essentially similar products; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the account numbers set forth below or any other account that may be deemed appropriate by the Chief Financial Officer or his designee, and the availability of funds has been contingently certified by the Chief Financial Officer subject to sufficient funds being appropriated by the Board in the 2026, or subsequent years’ County budget(s), which is attached to and made part of this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed at the December 16, 2025 meeting of the Law and Public Safety Committee, and is being recommended to the Board for approval; and
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-10 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12 et seq., that the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic hereby authorizes the purchase of the following goods or services in accordance with the terms of the applicable State Contract and Cooperative Purchasing Agreements:
Description: AXON Interview Kit and Licensing for five (5) years
Using Agency: Prosecutor’s Office
Purchase Price: $18,978.80
Accounts: Subject to budget appropriations for 2026 operating budget

LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the above award to AXON Enterprise, Inc., is contingent upon AXON Enterprise, Inc., being awarded new contracts pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-10 in the years 2026-2030.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Agent, Clerk to the Board, and Director of the Board be and hereby are authorized and directed to take such further actions and sign such documents as are necessary to effectuate the purpose of this resolution, including but not limited to issuance of appropriate Purchase Orders
