RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING GABRIELLA MARRIELLO AND ALICE SIEGEL TO THE PASSAIC COUNTY ADVISORY COUNCIL ON DISABILITY FOR A THREE (3) YEAR TERM, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, ET SEQ.

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (“County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (“Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, on May 21, 1997, the Board created the Passaic County Advisory Council on Disability; and
WHEREAS, on February 23, 2021, the Board passed Resolution No. R20210149, reappointing Gabriella Marriello to the Passaic County Advisory Council on Disability for a three (3) year term, commencing on March 1, 2021 and expiring on February 28, 2024; and
WHEREAS, on April 27, 2021, the Board passed Resolution No. R20210412, reappointing Alice Siegel to the Passaic County Advisory Council on Disability for a three (3) year term, commencing on May 1, 2021 and expiring on April 30, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Senior Services, Disability & Veteran Affairs is recommending reappointment of Ms. Marriello and Ms. Siegel to the Passaic County Advisory Council on Disability for a three (3) year term; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed at the August 29, 2024 Administration and Finance Committee meeting, and is being recommended to the Board for approval; and
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic hereby reappoints Gabriella Marriello and Alice Siegel to the Passaic County Advisory Council on Disability for a three (3) year term, as follows:
1. Reappointing Gabriella Marriello to the Passaic County Advisory Council on Disability for a three (3) year term, retroactive to March 1, 2024 and expiring on February 28, 2027.
2. Reappointing Alice Siegel to the Passaic County Advisory Council on Disability for a three (3) year term, retroactive to May 1, 2024 and expiring on April 30, 2027.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Board, County Counsel, County Administrator, Director of Senior Services, and Director of the Board are authorized to take any action necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
