RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF COPIER MACHINES FROM ATLANTIC TOMORROW’S OFFICE. UNDER STATE CONTRACT NO. 40467, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12, ET SEQ.

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (“County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (“Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12, et seq, the County may, without advertising for bids, or having rejected all bids obtained pursuant to advertising thereof, purchase any goods or services under any contract(s) for such goods and services entered into on behalf of the State of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property; and
WHEREAS, Atlantic Tomorrow’s Office (“Atlantic”) is an authorized vendor under State Contract No. 40467 for G2075 - Copiers & Multi-Function Devices, Maintenance, Supplies & Print Services (“State Contract No. 40467”), awarded by the State of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property; and
WHEREAS, the County Clerk’s Office received a quote from Atlantic, attached hereto and made part of this Resolution, for the purchase of one (1) new Ricoh IM 7000 copier machine and one (1) new Ricoh IM 4000 copier machine, for a total amount of seventeen thousand two hundred and sixty-five dollars ($17,265.00), in accordance with State Contract No. 40467, which the County Clerk is recommending to the Board for approval; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:32-60.1, et seq., Atlantic executed the Non-Involvement in Prohibited Activities in Russia or Belarus Certification, attached hereto and made part of this Resolution, certifying that it is not involved in prohibited activities in Russia and Belarus, and the County confirmed that said vendor is not identified on the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons list created by the Office of Foreign Assets Control; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in Account No. T-17-56-850-000-801, or any other account that may be deemed appropriate by the Chief Financial Officer or his designee, and the availability of funds has been contingently certified by the Chief Financial Officer subject to sufficient funds being appropriated by the Board in the 2025 and/or subsequent County budget(s), which is attached hereto and made part of this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed at the March 26, 2025 Administration and Finance Committee meeting, and is being recommended to the Board for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12, et seq., the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic authorizes the purchase of one (1) new Ricoh IM 7000 copier machine and one (1) new Ricoh IM 4000 copier machine from Atlantic Tomorrow’s Office, for a total amount of seventeen thousand two hundred and sixty-five dollars ($17,265.00), in accordance with State Contract No. 40467,
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Board, County Counsel, Purchasing Agent, Director of MIS, and Director of the Board are authorized to take any action necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
