RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION R-24-1200 DATED DECEMBER 30, 2024 AUTHORIZING AWARDS OF CONTRACTS TO VARIOUS AGENCIES FOR 2025-2027 C.A.R.E.S POOL OF PROVIDERS TO PERFORM PROFESSIONAL SERVICES OF RESPITE/CERTIFIED HOME HEALTH AIDES AND NURSING HOME PLACEMENT, PERSONAL EMERGENCY RESPONSE SYSTEMS AND MEDICATION DISPENSING SYSTEM FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF SENIOR SERVICES FOR THE CONTRACT PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2025 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2025 WITH TWO ONE-YEAR OPTIONS TO RENEW AS OUTLINED IN RFP #25-002, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4.1 ET SEQ.

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (“County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18.1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (“County”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution R-24-1200 dated December 30, 2024, the Board authorized contract awards to approved 2025-2027 C.A.R.E.S. vendors, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-14.1 et.seq., for the period December 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025 with two, one (1) year options to renew in the amount of Three Hundred Ninety-Five Thousand and 00/000 ($395,000.00) dollars each year; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this resolution is to amend same to reflect the correct contract period of January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025; and
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4.1 et.seq., the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic authorizes an amendment to Resolution R-24-1200 dated December 30, 2024, to reflect the correct contract period as more fully set forth above; and
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that all the other terms and conditions as set forth in Resolution R-24-1200 dated December 30, 2024 remain in full force and effect; and
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk to the Board, County Counsel, the Executive Director of Senior Services, the Purchasing Agent, and Director of the Board are authorized to take any action necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
