RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING JANET LAYCOX, NEIL ROSS, JANICE SANGLE, AND CINDY SIMON TO THE PASSAIC COUNTY ADVISORY COUNCIL ON DISABILITY FOR A THREE (3) YEAR TERM, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, ET SEQ.

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (“County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (“Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, on May 21, 1997, the Board created the Passaic County Advisory Council on Disability; and
WHEREAS, on April 11, 2023, the Board passed Resolution No. R-23-0337, reappointing Janet Laycox of West Milford, Neil Ross of the City of Passaic, Janice Sangle of West Milford, and Cindy Simon of the Township of Wayne to the Passaic County Advisory Council on Disability, each for a three (3) year term commencing on May 1, 2023 and expiring on April 30, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Senior Services is recommending the reappointment of Janet Laycox of West Milford, Neil Ross of the City of Passaic, Janice Sangle of West Milford, and Cindy Simon of the Township of Wayne to the Passaic County Advisory Council on Disability, each for a three (3) year term commencing on May 1, 2026 and expiring on April 30, 2029; and
WHEREAS, this matter was considered by the Administration and Finance Committee and is being recommended to the Board for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic hereby reappoints Janet Laycox of West Milford, Neil Ross of the City of Passaic, Janice Sangle of West Milford, and Cindy Simon of the Township of Wayne to the Passaic County Advisory Council on Disability, each for a three (3) year term commencing on May 1, 2026 and expiring on April 30, 2029.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk to the Board, County Counsel, Director of Senior Services, and Director of the Board are authorized to take any action necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
