RESOLUTION APPOINTING A MEMBER AND ALTERNATE MEMBER TO THE NORTH JERSEY TRANSPORTATION PLANNING AUTHORITY BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2025, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40:20-1

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (“County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (“Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (“NJTPA”) is the federally sanctioned Metropolitan Planning Organization for the 13-county northern New Jersey region, which approves funding for transportation projects annually and provides a forum for interagency cooperation and public participation; and
WHEREAS, the Board is required to appoint a member and alternate member to the NJTPA Board of Trustees for calendar year 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic appoints County Commissioner John W. Bartlett, Esq. as a member to the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority Board of Trustees for calendar year 2025 to represent the County of Passaic’s interests before same.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that Andras Holzmann is appointed as an alternate member to the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority Board of Trustees for calendar year 2025 to serve in the absence of County Commissioner John W. Bartlett, Esq.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the members appointed herein are authorized to take any action necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
