RESOLUTION REVISING THE REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF PASSAIC FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2025, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 10:4-18

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (“County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (“Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-18, at least once a year, within seven (7) days following the annual reorganization meeting of the Board, the Clerk of the Board shall post a schedule that contains the location, time, and date of each Board meeting for the calendar year; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 10:4-18, in the event that such schedule is thereafter revised, the Board, within seven (7) days following such revision, shall post, mail and submit such revision in the manner described therein; and
WHEREAS, on January 7, 2025, the Board passed Resolution No. R-25-1, establishing the Regular Meeting Schedule of the Board for calendar year 2025; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to revise the Board’s Meeting Schedule, thereby modifying the meeting location of the April 22, 2025 Board meeting from the Passaic County Community College Environmental Center to the Passaic County Administration Building, as stated in the revised 2025 Board Regular Meeting Schedule, attached hereto and made part of this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed at the March 26, 2025, Administration & Finance Committee meeting, and is being recommended to the Board for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-18, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic adopts the revised 2025 Regular Board Meeting Schedule, attached hereto, which sets forth the following change:
1. The April 22, 2025, Board meeting will be held at the Passaic County Administration Building located at 401 Grand Street, Second Floor, Paterson, NJ 07505, instead of the Passaic County Community College Environmental Center located at 387 Rifle Camp Road, Woodland Park, NJ 07424.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Board shall post, mail and submit the revised 2025 Regular Board Meeting Schedule, in the manner described under N.J.S.A. 10:4-18, by no later than April 15, 2025.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Board, County Administrator, County Counsel, and Director of the Board are authorized to take any action necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution, and ensure compliance with the Senator Byron M. Baer Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6, et seq.
