RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FIVE (5) PRINTERS FROM ATLANTIC TOMORROW’S OFFICE FOR THE COUNTY OF PASSAIC ROAD DEPARTMENT, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-12, ET SEQ.

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (hereafter “County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1 the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (hereafter “Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:11-12, et seq., the County may, without advertising for bids, or having rejected all bids obtained pursuant to advertising thereof, purchase any goods or services under any contract or contracts for such goods or services entered into on behalf of the State of New Jersey by the Division of Purchase and Property in the Department of Treasury; and
WHEREAS, Atlantic Tomorrows Office has been awarded State Contract No. 25-COMG-99562 for M2075 Copiers and Managed Print Services - Statewide, by the State of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property; and
WHEREAS, the Passaic County Road Department received a quote from Atlantic Tomorrow’s Office, attached hereto and made part of this Resolution, for the purchase of five (5) printers for the Road department to replace four (4) that are unrepairable and one (1) addition for the Fleet Manager’s Office from Atlantic Tomorrows Office in the amount of thirty eight thousand seven hundred ninety dollars ($38,790.00) in accordance with State Contract No. 25-COMG-99562, which is being recommended to the Board for approval; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:32-60.1, et seq., Atlantic Tomorrows Office executed the Non-Involvement in Prohibited Activities in Russia or Belarus Certification, attached hereto and made part of this Resolution, certifying that it is not involved in prohibited activities in Russia and Belarus, and the County confirmed that Atlantic Tomorrows Office is not identified on the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons list created by the Office of Foreign Assets Control; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in Account No. 6-01-26-151-001-223, or any other account that may be deemed appropriate by the Chief Financial Officer or his designee, and the availability of funds has been contingently certified by the Chief Financial Officer subject to sufficient funds being appropriated by the Board in the 2026 and/or subsequent years’ County budget(s), which is attached to and made part of this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed at the March 11, 2026 meeting of the Public Works Committee and is being recommended to the Board for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12, et seq. that the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic authorizes the purchase of five (5) printers for the Road department to replace four (4) that are unrepairable and one (1) addition for the Fleet Manager’s Office from Atlantic Tomorrow’s Office, in an amount not to exceed thirty eight thousand seven hundred ninety dollars ($38,790.00), as recommended by the Supervisor of Roads.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Agent, Clerk of the Board, and County Counsel are hereby authorized and directed to take such further actions and sign such documents as are necessary to effectuate the purpose of this Resolution, including but not limited to the issuance of the appropriate Purchase Order.
