RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A NEW RICOH IM C8010 COPIER AND RELATED ACCESSORIES FROM ATLANTIC TOMORROW’S OFFICE FOR THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (“County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (“Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, the Office of the Clerk to the Board is in need of a new copier; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12, et seq, the County may, without advertising for bids, or having rejected all bids obtained pursuant to advertising thereof, purchase any goods or services under any contract(s) for such goods and services entered into on behalf of the State of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property; and
WHEREAS, Atlantic Tomorrow’s Office has been awarded State Contract No. 25-COMG-99562 for M2075 Copiers and Managed Print Services - Statewide, by the State of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property; and
WHEREAS, the Office of the Clerk to the Board received a quote from Atlantic Tomorrow’s Office, attached hereto and made part of this Resolution, for the purchase of one (1) new Ricoh IM C8010 copier, including related accessories, for a total amount not to exceed nineteen thousand four hundred dollars ($19,400.00), in accordance with State Contract No. 25-COMG-99562, which is being recommended to the Board for approval; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:32-60.1, et seq., Atlantic Tomorrow’s Office executed the Non-Involvement in Prohibited Activities in Russia or Belarus Certification, attached hereto and made part of this Resolution, certifying that it is not involved in prohibited activities in Russia and Belarus, and the County confirmed that Atlantic Tomorrow’s Office is not identified on the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons list created by the Office of Foreign Assets Control; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in Account Nos. 6-01-20-101-001-201 ($1,500.00), 6-01-20-101-001-219 ($2,000.00), 6-01-20-101-001-231 ($5,000.00), 6-01-20-101-001-233 ($2,500.00), 6-01-20-101-001-237 ($3,000.00), 6-01-20-105-001-211 ($3,000.00), 6-01-20-105-001-237 ($2,400.00), or any other account that may be deemed appropriate by the Chief Financial Officer or his designee, and the availability of funds has been contingently certified by the Chief Financial Officer subject to sufficient funds being appropriated by the Board in the 2026 and/or subsequent County budget(s), which is attached hereto and made part of this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed at the August 26, 2026, Administration and Finance Committee meeting, and is being recommended to the Board for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic authorizes the purchase of one (1) new Ricoh IM C8010 copier, including related accessories, for a total amount not to exceed nineteen thousand four hundred dollars ($19,400.00), in accordance with the attached quote and State Contract No. 25-COMG-99562.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk to the Board, County Counsel, County Clerk, Purchasing Agent, and Director of the Board are authorized to take any action necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
