RESOLUTION APPOINTING COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO THE PASSAIC COUNTY TECHNICAL-VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS BOARD OF SCHOOL ESTIMATE FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2025, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 18A:54-27

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (“County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (“Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:54-27, there shall be a board of school estimate for each county system of vocational schools, which shall consist of two members of the board of education of the school, appointed by that board, two members of the board of county commissioners of the county in which the school is situated, appointed by that board, and the county supervisor of the county, in counties of the first class, and the director of the board of county commissioners, in other counties.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:54-27, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic authorizes the following appointments to the Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools Board of School Estimate for calendar year 2025:
1. County Commissioner Cassandra Lazzara.
2. County Commissioner Orlando Cruz.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Board shall send a certified copy of this Resolution to the Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools Superintendent.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOVLED, that the County Commissioners appointed herein are authorized to take any action necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution as members of the Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools Board of School Estimate for calendar year 2025.
