RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AWARD OF CONTRACT TO ALLEGIANCE TRUCK, LLC D/B/A AT NORTHERN NJ LLC TO REPAIR TWO (2) VEHICLES IN THE COUNTY FLEET, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40A:11-10.

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (the “County”) is a government body incorporated pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1, et seq. and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1 the Board of County Commissioners for the County of Passaic (hereinafter the “Board”) are vested with decision making powers on behalf of the County; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-10, the governing bodies of two or more contracting units may provide by a joint agreement for the provision of the performance of goods and services to be used by their respective jurisdictions; and
WHEREAS, by virtue of Resolution R20170119, the County entered into the Bergen County Cooperative Contract Purchasing System # 11-BCCPS, which awarded a contract for Provide Automotive Parts & Accessories Select Items - Coop, Bid No. BC-BID-24-34.1N, to multiple vendors, including Allegiance Truck, LLC d/b/a At Northern NJ LLC; and
WHEREAS, Allegiance Truck, LLC d/b/a At Northern NJ LLC provided quotes to the Supervisor of Roads, attached to and made part of this resolution, for the repair of two (2) vehicles in the County fleet, in the total amount not to exceed thirty-three thousand five hundred sixty-seven dollars and one cent ($33,57.01) which is being recommended for approval by the Supervisor of Roads; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in Account No. 5-01-26-151-001-222 or any other account that may be deemed appropriate by the Chief Financial Officer or his designee, and the availability of funds has been contingently certified by the Chief Financial Officer subject to sufficient funds being appropriated by the Board in the 2026 and/or subsequent years’ County budget(s), which is attached to and made part of this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed at the March 11, 2026 meeting of the Public Works Committee and is being recommended to the Board for approval; and
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-10, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic is authorizing an award of contract to Allegiance Truck, LLC d/b/a At Northern NJ LLC for the repair of two (2) vehicles in the County fleet, in the total amount not to exceed thirty-three thousand five hundred sixty-seven dollars and one cent ($33,57.01), as recommended by the Supervisor of Roads.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Director of the Board of County Commissioners, the Clerk to the Board, County Counsel, and Purchasing Agent are authorized to execute an agreement and take any other steps necessary to carry out the purpose of this resolution.
