RESOLUTION RENEWING THE PASSAIC COUNTY COOPERATIVE PRICING SYSTEM (38PCCP) FOR A TERM OF FIVE YEARS, PURSUANT TO N.J.A.C. 5:34-7.8

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (“County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (“Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-10, the governing bodies of two or more contracting units may provide by joint agreement for the provision and performance of goods and services for use by their respective jurisdictions; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.A.C. 5:34-7.4, the County is the lead agency for the Passaic County Cooperative Pricing System (38PCCP); and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Agent is recommending that the Passaic County Cooperative Pricing System (38PCCP) be renewed for a five-year term in accordance with N.J.A.C. 5:34-7.8; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed at the January 28, 2026, meeting of the Administration & Finance Committee, and is being recommended to the Board for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.A.C. 5:34-7.8, that the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic authorizes the renewal of the Passaic County Cooperative Pricing System (38PCCP) for a term of five years.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that in accordance with N.J.A.C. 5:34-7.8(d), the Purchasing Agent shall send to the Division of Local Government Services a renewal application that includes: 1) Form CP-2001; (2) a copy of this Resolution; and 3) a list of the current members of the Passaic County Cooperative Pricing System (#38PCCP).
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Board, Chief Financial Officer, County Administrator, County Counsel, Director of the Board, and Purchasing Agent are authorized to take any other steps necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
