RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING A VENDOR NAME CHANGE FROM REMINGTON & VERNICK ENGINEERS II, INC., TO REMINGTON & VERNICK ENGINEERS II, LLC, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40:20-1.

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (hereafter “County”) is a government body incorporated pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1, et seq. and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners for the County of Passaic (hereafter “Board”) is vested with decision-making powers on behalf of the County; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5, et seq. the County issued RFQ-26-011, Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors, Planners, Landscape Architects, Golf Course Architects/Designers, and Environmental and Safety/Engineering Consultants (hereafter “RFQ-26-011”) seeking qualifications for a pool of professional consultants for calendar year 2026, to be hired on an as-needed basis by the County; and
WHEREAS, on October 28, 2025, the Board passed Resolution R-25-1038 establishing a qualified pool of consultants for the Calendar Year 2026 as per RFQ-26-011 and RFQ-25-043, which included Remington & Vernick Engineers II, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the County has been informed that Remington & Vernick Engineers II, Inc. has reorganized and is now known as Remington & Vernick Engineers II, LLC; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to acknowledge Remington & Vernick Engineers II, Inc.’s name change to Remington & Vernick Engineers II, LLC for procurement and purchasing purposes; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed at the July 29, 2026, meeting of the Public Works Committee and is being recommended to the Board for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic acknowledges a name change from Remington & Vernick Engineers II, Inc. to Remington & Vernick Engineers II, LLC, for procurement and purchasing purposes.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk to the Board, County Counsel, and Purchasing Agent are authorized to take any action necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
