RESOLUTION APPOINTING COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO THE PASSAIC COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE BOARD OF SCHOOL ESTIMATE FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2025, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 18A:64A-15

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (“County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (“Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:64A-15, each county college in the State of New Jersey shall have a board of school estimate, and in the case of a county college established by one county, such board shall consist of the director of the board of county commissioners, two members of the board of county commissioners appointed by that board, and two members of the board of trustees appointed by that board.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:64A-15, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic authorizes the following appointments to the Passaic County Community College Board of School Estimate for calendar year 2025:
1. County Commissioner Orlando Cruz.
2. County Commissioner Cassandra Lazzara.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Board shall send a certified copy of this Resolution to the Passaic County Community College President.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Commissioners appointed herein are authorized to take any action necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution as members of the Passaic County Community College Board of School Estimate.
