RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL RESPONSES RECEIVED UNDER SB-24-005 PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE & SERVICE OF DIETARY& FOOD EQUIPMENNT FOR PREAKNSS HEALTHCARE CENTER, PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2(d).

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (hereafter the “County”) is a government body incorporated pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 et.seq., and vested with the rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, et.seq., the Board of County Commissioners for the County of Passaic (hereafter the “Board”) are vested with the decision-making powers on behalf of the County; and
WHEREAS the Purchasing Agent unsealed responses to SB-24-005 Preventive Maintenance & Service of Dietary & Food Equipment (hereafter “SB-24-005”) for Preakness Healthcare Center; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2(d), the County is rejecting all bids in response to SB-24-005 to substantially revise the specifications for goods and services, in connection with the above; and
WHEREAS, the matter was discussed at the January 16, 2024, meeting of the Health and Human Services Committee and is being recommended to the Board for approval; and
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2(d), the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (hereafter “Board”) hereby authorizes the rejection of all responses to SB-24-005 Preventive Maintenance & Service of Dietary & Food Equipment for Preakness Healthcare Center and substantially revise the section for goods and services.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk to the Board, County Counsel, Director of Human Services, and Director of the Board are authorized to take any others steps necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
