RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION R-25-636 DATED JULY 15, 2025, TO RENEW A GRANT TO WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT CENTER FOR CAREER SERVICES UNDER RFP-22-018, AND THE FIRST AND FINAL OPTION TO RENEW A GRANT TO PRIVATE MANAGEMENT UNDER RFP-24-031 FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES.

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (hereafter “County”) is a government body incorporated pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1, et seq. and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners for the County of Passaic (hereafter the “Board”) is vested with decision making powers on behalf of the County; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution R-25-636, dated July 15, 2025, the Board authorized the third and final option to renew a grant to Workforce Development Center for career services under RFP-22-018, and the first and final option to renew a grant to private management under RFP-24-031 for the Department of Human Services; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this resolution is to amend same to reflect the correct RFP year listed in the second to the last paragraph to read RFP-22-018, instead of RFP-20-018, which was incorrectly stated in the body of Resolution R-25-636, dated July 15, 2025; and
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic hereby authorizes amendment of R-25-636, dated July 15, 2025, to correct the incorrect RFP year stated in the body of said Resolution and to reflect the correction of RFP-22-018 in the second to the last paragraph, instead of RFP-20-018; and
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that all the other terms and conditions as set forth in Resolution R-25-636, dated July 15, 2025, remain in full force and effect; and
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk to the Board, County Counsel, and the Director of the Department of Human Services are hereby authorized to take the necessary actions to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
