RESOLUTION APPOINTING A COUNTY COMMISSIONER TO THE HUMAN SERVICES ADVISORY COUNCIL FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2025, PURSUANT TO N.J.A.C. 10:2-1.3, ET SEQ.

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (“County”) is a body politic and corporate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1 and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic (“Board”) is vested with managing the property, finances, and affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.A.C. 10:2-1.1, et seq., the Board established the Human Services Advisory Council, a county-based planning, advisory, and advocacy organization dedicated to meeting the human service needs of the local community; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.A.C. 10:2-1.3(a)(1)(i), a County Commissioner shall serve on the Human Services Advisory Council as an ex-officio member.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.A.C. 10:2-1.3, et seq., the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Passaic appoints Cassandra Lazzara as an ex-officio member of the Human Services Advisory Council for calendar year 2025.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Board shall send a certified copy of this Resolution to the Human Services Advisory Council chairperson.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Commissioner appointed herein is authorized to take any action necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
