RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PASSAIC COUNTY PURCHASING AGENT TO ADVERTISE AND RECEIVE BIDS FOR INSPECTION SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH THE 11 MARSHALL STREET REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT IN THE CITY OF PATERSON, PURSUANT N.J.S.A 40A: 11-23, ET SEQ.

WHEREAS, the County of Passaic (the “County”) is a government body incorporated pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:18-1, et seq. and vested with all rights contained therein; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:20-1 the Board of County Commissioners for the County of Passaic (hereinafter the “Board”) are vested with decision making powers on behalf of the County; and
WHEREAS, the specifications for the 11 Marshall Street Inspection Services have been prepared and conform with County and industry engineering standards, and the County Engineer is requesting that the Purchasing Agent advertise and receive bids for same, in compliance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et seq.; and
WHEREAS, the Passaic County Engineer is recommending that the Board authorize the Purchasing Agent to advertise and receive bids for the 11 Marshall Street Inspection Services in the City of Paterson; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23, et seq. the County will publish the advertisement for bids in advance of the date fixed for receiving the bids to promote competitive bidding; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed at the November 25, 2025 meeting of the Public Works Committee and is being recommended to the Board for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23, et seq., that the Passaic County Board of Commissioners hereby authorizes the Passaic County Purchasing Agent to advertise and receive bids as recommended by the Passaic County Engineer for the 11 Marshall Street Inspection Services in the City of Paterson.
